Week 1

Vision of Success

A company’s vision tells the story of where the company is going and it will ultimately inform the why, how, who and what of your business. Your vision sets the tone for the type of people you work with and who will work for you. It’s your North Star and demands careful ​attention​ & ​intention​ when it’s crafted. During Week 1 we will explore the importance of a company vision and each craft our own vision of success.

During Week 1 we will:

Week 2

Core Purpose, Values and Accountability

Once we figure out where we want to go with our vision, we’ll starting digging into why we want to go there, who we are as a company and how to stay on track. The Who and Why will be laid out in our Core Values and Purpose. Core Values lay the groundwork for hiring, firing, rewarding & reviewing; while our purpose, or mission, will ultimately define the culture we create.

During Week 2 we will:

Commit to Core Values & Purpose

Create a scalable Accountability chart

Take the PI Behavioral Assessment

Week 3

Marketing Plan

Having a great business idea is all fine and dandy, but if we can’t effectively communicate what our business does or what our product is, then even a revolutionary idea won’t go very far.

During Week 3 we will:

Target Market – The Customers & Partners we want to work with

Business Uniques – The stuff we do better than everyone else

Proven Process – The WRITTEN recipe for how we execute the plan

Company Guarantee – promises we can guarantee to our followers

Week 4

Goal Setting and Issue Processing

Time to get tactical! Identifying barriers and then constructing a plan to get around or break through them is what business is all about and is just plain fun.

During Week 4 we will:

Paint a picture of what the company looks like in 3 years

Identify, discuss, & solve Key Issues

Commit to SMART goals for the year and quarter

Week 5

Communication, KPI’s and Meeting Structure

The groundwork has been laid, now we just need the structure to actually pull it off. Week 5 will provide the tools to achieve your goals and execute your strategy.

During Week 5 we will:

Hold the team members accountable to and for one another

Decide on Key Performance Indicators and Create a Scorecard

Facilitate a productive meeting & gain buy-in from your team

Andy McCarthy

Andy brings over 10 years experience co-founding, scaling and exiting an iconic food manufacturer. Andy naturally transitioned to advising businesses after owning, operating and exiting the Southeast’s most popular popsicle company, King of Pops. He has emerged as an expert in visioning, value development, brand strategies and scaling. Andy currently serves as President of the South Carolina Specialty Food Association, is a member of the Vistage Worldwide, and is involved with a number of non-profit organizations along the coast. Andy graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Biology and has a passion for learning, exploring, and all things outdoors.
